Indigenous Australians carry an excessive burden of ill-health in comparison with Australia s non-Indigenous population. Colonisation and past government policies are implicated in this.

Then; from material in lectures, tutorials and recommended readings, identify and briefly discuss,

one (1) current, culturally appropriate strategy and/or practice; government or non-government, that is or is attempting to, address the identified health issue.

The discussion should include cultural, sociological, psychological and environmental aspects of the identified health issue that may impact on the Indigenous individual, family and/or community
