For this assignment you are required to undertake a minor research exercise analysing question 2 from the topic ‘Introduction to small business management in Australia’, namely ‘An Enterprise Culture is important in fostering Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Small Business! Comment on the state of Enterprise Culture in Australia and what steps could be taken to enhance it, if necessary.’
[Hint: As an important first step in responding to this question it is advisable to define ‘Enterprise Culture’ and provide evidence of its existence (or not) in Australia.]
Your investigation into the issue will involve further research by using the internet to access relevant journal articles, as well as other sources of information including case studies, press releases, media reports etc.
You must provide a 450 word summary of the results of your research, in which you clearly indicate how the information relates to small business plus a reference list showing the sources of your findings, web links and the extent to which these sources are current. (University policy allows for a 10% over-run in words.) Provide a detailed reference list showing your sources of information.
